Aswan University in cooperation with World Health Organization WHO organized an initiative entitled” Sport for All”, the initiative included several competitions in (athletics, football, Judo, handball, basketball and table tennis). Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab said that the initiative urges the students to do sport and take care of their public health. He added that WHO members inspected the university’s sports facilities and playgrounds, they praised the ongoing improvements in the sports field. In this regard, the representative of WHO and the advisor of the minister of higher education for student’s activities Dr. Tayee Abd Al Latif Taha said that WHO is currently implementing “Sports for All” in 5 universities to encourage doing competitive sports activities among university students. The dean of the faculty of physical education Prof. Abd Al Rahman Abd Al Baset declared that there was a remarkable completion among the faculty students and prizes were given to the winners of the first 3 places under the patronage of the vice president of education and student’s affairs.
