As a part of declaring Aswan as the capital of African Youth 2019, Prof. Ghallab approved on organizing a medical convey to Djibouti in March 2019 in cooperation with Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development. This came during the procedures of the latest university’s council that was held under the chairmanship of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab and attended by the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the vice president of education and student’s affairs Prof. Hanan Abd Al Moneam, the advisors of the university president as well as the vice deans. In this regard, Prof. Ghallab said that the medical convey will last for 5 days and it will include the following specialties (general surgery, vascular surgery, anesthesia, ophthalmitis, and otorhinolaryngology). The council introduced the Prime Minister’s latest visit to Aswan University where the university president thanked the prime minister on his keenness on upgrading the Egyptian educational institutions. The council also approved on creating Technological Creation Unit in the faculty of energy engineering.
