Aswan University president Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed confirmed that Upper Egypt governorates have the ability to achieve the comprehensive and sustainable development by their sons ‘hands and this in the light of the huge amount of resources, abilities, and fortunes of their governorates.
He added that, H.E.Abd El Fattah El Sisi-President of the Republic confirmed in more than one occasion the importance of achieving the goals of the sustainable development and the important role of the universities in developing the comprehensive development cycle that Egypt witnessed it in the current time and its basic role in forming awareness of students, and instilling their values of citizenship and belonging, and inform youth with the challenges and dangers that Egypt faces.
This is declared by press releases of Aswan University President Prof.Ahmed Ghallab through his participation in the first scientific conference to develop Upper Egypt governorates entitled “Towards Sustainable Development Map for Upper Egypt” which was held in Luxor during the period from 11-13 the current March with the attendance by Prof.Ahmed Aziz-Sohag University President, Prof. Atef Abo El Wafaa –The New Valley University President.
Ghallab added that Aswan University is one of the major universities of the Upper Egypt sector and it is a source of experience for Aswan which is considered the gateway of Egypt for the African continent ,and it is lucked with the declaration of the President of the Republic Aswan is the capital of African youth for the year 2019, which is evidence for its important position in connection with the citizens of African continent ,moreover Aswan has several of huge natural resources in all fields of agriculture, industrial, mineral wealth, archaeological and tourism wealth, fisheries and solar energy projects so Aswan is regarded the fertile ground for all development and investment projects.
He pointed out that through the research axes of this important conference, which includes 190 scientific research, we strive to achieve many objectives, to develop scientific and research visions, to face the challenges and difficulties and to develop new proposals for investing available resources and finding non-typical financing methods for development projects and marketing them.
