The South Korean Embassy in Cairo has decided to grant the University of Aswan a comprehensive library with a large number of Korean books and computers.
Dr. Ahmed Ghalab Mohamed, President of Aswan University, met with Mr. Yang Sangen, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Cairo, at Aswan University in the presence of Dr. Hazem Al-Gamal, Director of International Cooperation and Agreements at Aswan University.
Ghallab explained that the Korean Library will contribute to supporting the educational process in the Korean language department at Al Alsun College in Aswan University. It is expected to start processing and opening it in the next two months, while the amount allocated for this library from the Korean side is $ 20,000.
He added that the Korean Embassy approved the request of the University of Aswan to send Korean volunteers to work in teaching Korean language department at Al-Alsun College in order to achieve the greatest scientific benefit for students.
