Ten scholarships in postgraduate sector for African students presented by Aswan University

The Council of Postgraduate Studies and Research, headed by Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Mehalal Orabi, Vice President of Aswan University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, was held in attendance of the deans of faculties for postgraduate studies and research and members of the council.

The council’s work was opened by Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Mehalal, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, by congratulating the members of the council on the occasion of the new Hijri year, may Allah return it to us and to the Islamic and Arab nation with goodness, blessings and prosperity.

The Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research stated that the council approved the announcement of 10 scholarships presented by Aswan University for African students in postgraduate programs Masters and PhD in faculties of medicine, engineering, energy engineering and social work, and this comes within the framework of the university’s regional and international role.

Orabi added that the Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector is striving to provide educational opportunities for academically qualified youth, in light of the Egyptian state’s interest in graduating scientific cadres capable of competing in labor market, playing its role towards its African brothers, and working to attract students from various African and Arab universities. The Council also approved the start of enrollment in postgraduate studies in the Faculties of Agriculture, Nursing, Specific Education, and Arts at the beginning of next August 2024 for various postgraduate programs according to availability in each department or program.
