As a part of Aswan University’s connection with the different foreign embassies to promote the academic and scientific research, the university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab took part in the Brazilian Embassy’s Celebration of Brazil’s National Day. He witnessed the ceremony of the Brazilian ambassador Mr. Ruy Amaral’s farewell who participated in the inauguration of the Portuguese language department in the faculty of Al Al sun 5 years ago whose service will be ended during Sept. 2019. In the same context, Prof. Ghallab invited the Brazilian former foreign minister Mr. Antonio Batriota who will take over the embassy to visit Aswan University. Prof. Ghallab said that Aswan university has a distinguished Portuguese language department from which 2 batches graduated. In a related context, he met the ambassadors of Mozambique and Angola and invited them to the African Universities Week which is scheduled to be held during Oct. 2019.
