Headed by Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghaalb, a delegation of Aswan university participated in the Egyptian-Finnish Forum for Higher Education in the presence of the minister of higher education and scientific research Prof. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar as well as the president of the University of Helsinki and the previous president of Finland Ms. Tarja Halonen. Aswan university mission included the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, Aswan University’s international collaboration official Dr. Hazem Al Gamal. In a related context, Prof. Ghallab praised the forum which aimed at promoting the mutual collaboration in the field of scientific research, improving teaching systems and supporting the project for twinning between Egyptian and Finnish universities in the various scientific areas.
