Prof. Ayman Othman stressed that the visit included signing a cooperation agreement with Luxor University, headed by Prof. Hamdi Hussein, which comes within the framework of coordinating efforts between the two universities to advance the educational system and work on exchanging experiences between the two parties.
Prof. Ayman Othman pointed out that the cooperation agreement aims to meet the needs of Luxor University for faculty members in order to fill the deficit in various specializations, in order to benefit from the scientific and practical experiences between the two parties, and work to graduate a generation capable of challenge, development and innovation, and support inventors in a way that contributes to the development of society in the two governorates, and the ability to compete with graduates in the labor market, especially in the field of tourism.
The signing of the protocol was also witnessed by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, and Prof. Hamdi Mohamed Hussein, President of Luxor University, in the presence of Prof. Ahmed Mohie Hamza, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Director of the Egyptian Public Library, and a number of cadres of the university’s administrative apparatus.
For his part, Prof. Hamdi Hussein, President of Luxor University, explained that this protocol comes within the framework of achieving the university’s strategic plan to achieve maximum benefit through cooperation with other universities, stressing that the cooperation agreement with Aswan University aims to organize scientific conferences, seminars and workshops that serve the local community of Upper Egypt, exchange research materials to support and enrich scientific research, and exchange programs and activities between the two universities.
