They are the legal organizations that express the views and aspirations of students in universities, colleges, and institutes, and through which they practice all student activities within the framework of the original university traditions and values. Student unions aim to achieve the following:
- Representing students inside and outside the university and defending their interests and rights to provide and improve the services provided to students.
- Motivate students to practice different activities.
- Refining students’ talents, developing their abilities and skills, and employing them in a way that benefits the student and the university together.
- Strengthening the links between students, administrative bodies, employees and Academic staff members
- Developing and deepening the spiritual and moral foundations and principles through teamwork.
- Facilitating the practice of students expressing their opinions freely on various issues.
- Supporting the student’s personality to enable him to think freely and maturely
- Work to provide comfort and means of living for students inside and outside the university
- Working on highlighting meaningful community values and adhering to them
- Developing and organizing student programs and projects that serve both the student and the university
- Follow up on student complaints and work to resolve them

- Elections for the first round in faculties, sorting and announcing the results
