An art exhibition featuring 44 paintings under the slogan “Students without discrimination”

           Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed_ Aswan University President_ witnessed the art exhibition within the Events of Students without Discrimination initiative on the university campus in Sahari. the Students without Discrimination initiative held in cooperation between Aswan University, the Future Association for Development and the Coptic Evangelical Authority entitled “Forum for intercultural Dialogue” with the participation of local community institutions, which works to spread awareness and develop society and under the supervision of Prof. Magdi Mohamed Ali – Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development, and in attendance of Prof. Nasser Abdel-Razek  Mohamed – Dean of Faculty of Specific Education, Dr. Sally El-Hariri – Head of the Art Education Department and Dr. Iman El-Gamal And the assistant staff of Faculty of Specific Education.

         Ghallab stressed the importance of art in health of the soul and working to spread its creativity through student participation and drawings that express cohesion, which glorify noble human values, including fraternity and equality and rejecting extremism, violence, fanaticism and tribalism within university life in its various forms. And work to eliminate forms of discrimination by using art among all.

        Prof. Magdy Mohamed Ali, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environment Development, added that he participates in the initiative from Aswan University faculty of  Physical Education – Education – Specific Education – Central Youth Welfare administration” that the initiative aims to activate the role of young people and raise their awareness of the need to oppose All forms of discrimination and work to spread awareness of the importance of accepting the other.

        Prof. Nasser Abdel-Razek Mohamed – Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, pointed out that the exhibition is being held under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed – Aswan University President, with the aim of dissolving differences and working on cohesion.

       This is what was embodied by the paintings participating in the art exhibition organized by the Art Education Department at Faculty of Specific Education. Dr. Sally Al-Hariri, Head of the Department, explained that the exhibition included (44) paintings containing oil paintings, textiles and some panels of decorative designs that express the artistic values expressing on the initiative of students without discrimination.
