The General Coordinator of Aswan Children’s University and the previous vice president of Aswan University Prof. Ali Abbas Dandarawy declared that Aswan Children University is going to participate in the 5th International Conference on Innovation which is supposed to be held in Exhibition Land, Nasr City, Cairo on 8-9 November 2018. He added that the University will participate in the conference by two inventions; the 1st invention is prepared by the child Haya Ahmed Mohammed 12 years old in the field of engineering entitled” medical revolution without side effects”, the project aims at using hydrogel slice with light-emitting diode (LED) for reducing pain, wound healing, constancy of blood circulation, treatment of inflammation and myorrhexis. This modern technology can be used in ambulances, cars, home first aid kits in addition to the clinics of physical therapy.
Another invention to the child Mathio Maged Victor 11 years old, the invention’s idea is to use smart litter bins by using robots in order to provide job opportunities through making use of garbage recycling in the specialized industries (fertilizers- plastic).
In the same context, Prof. Dandarawy said that Children University is a fixed and unified program adopted by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology of the Supreme Council of Universities, it is applied in Egyptian universities apart from the ordinary academic day for the kids between 9-15 years old. It aims at unleashing the kids’ powers and enhancing their creative abilities. He continued that the university includes 293 children of Aswan governorate; they are trained in the faculties of engineering, energy engineering and science labs under the patronage of Aswan university vice president of community service and environmental affairs Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil.
