Today corresponding to 17th Jan. 2021, the administration of Aswan International Women Film Festival honored Aswan university president Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman. He was granted the Festival’s Shield; the statue of Isis as an appreciation of his great efforts in supporting the festival’s activities during previous sessions and the university’s keenness on fruitful cooperation between the university, workshops and trainings organized by the festival.
For his part, Prof. Ayman Othman stressed on the state’s keenness on youth by promoting their talents and artistic, cultural and creative abilities as they are the will be leaders. The cooperation between the festival administration and Aswan University is a part of adopting student talents by harnessing all university’s capabilities to enhance students’ talents by taking part in such international festivals.
His Excellency extended thanks and appreciation to the management of the International Women’s Film Festival, which is held annually in Aswan governorate. The festival’s shield was introduced by the journalist Hassan Abu El-Ela, festival director, in the presence of Dr. Ali Abbas Dandrawy, former university vice president, and the media man Mr. Abdel Shafi Hussein
