Today corresponding to 27th Sept. Aswan university council was held under the chairmanship of Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab and in the presence of the vice presidents of graduate studies and research and community service and environmental development Prof. Ayman Othman and Prof. Magdi Mohamed Ali respectively. Prof. Ghallab opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees and congratulating them on the start of the academic year 2020/2021 that was scheduled to begin on 17th October 2020.
In the same context, he stressed on the deans to follow all the precautionary measures against COVID-19. Prof. Ghallab added that E-platforms were constructed as the university has gained experience in the E-learning system in the previous year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the direction of the ministry of higher education, distance learning and hybrid education systems will be mixed together through e-platforms. The university planned to reduce students’ physical attendance for humanitarian faculties. Some academic degrees were granted in the meeting.
