Aswan University Council held its session No. (141) under the chairmanship of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Aswan University President, and in the attendance of university deputies, Faculty deans, and advisors to the University President.
Prof. Ayman Othman_ University President_ opened the Council’s work by presenting congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi_President of The Republic, on the occasion of the approaching Eid Al-Fitr, congratulated the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, members of the Council, and university employees.
Prof. Ayman Othman_ Aswan University president_ said that the council discussed the regularity of the educational process during the holy month of Ramadan, and the extent of Faculties’ preparations for the exams of the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024, which are witnessed by 28 thousand students, both male and female, in 20 Faculties and institutes.
The university president added that Aswan University succeeded in establishing the electronic tests center, which includes 7 laboratories with a capacity of each laboratory ranging from 56 to 230 devices, bringing the total capacity of the center to 750 devices in the new administrative building in the Sahari area, in order to facilitate students and save time and effort.
Aswan University Council also approved a number of promotions, appointments, and granting a number of academic degrees to Academic staff and their assistants at the university, in line with upgrading the university’s educational and research system.
