Aswan University Council for Education and Student Affairs, headed by Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasr, Acting President of Aswan University, was held in the attendance of Vice Deans for Education and Student Affairs of the faculties, and Ms. Heba Eid, Director of the Central Administration for Education and Student Affairs.
Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat emphasized the importance of taking all necessary measures in preparation for the new academic year and ensuring the implementation of the academic timetable issued by the Supreme Council of Universities for the academic year 2024/2025.
The council also discussed ongoing collaboration between Egypt and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development through the country program. Recommendations included linking general and technical education curricula and transitioning towards a green economy to develop skills to meet the anticipated demand for green jobs, in alignment with the Supreme Council of Universities’ directives.
Additionally, Aswan University President explained that the council reviewed the inclusion of the “Who Am I” content in its digital form on the university’s website and printing copies to attract students and distribute them within the campus. This is in accordance with the Supreme Council of Universities’ approval and the presidential directives. The meeting concluded with a discussion of new developments and ongoing matters.
