Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshouri, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, stated that in line with the directives of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Osman, President of Aswan University, the necessary medical care is being provided to the injured Sudanese nationals who were affected in a road accident this Tuesday morning on the western desert road in Aswan. The incident resulted in one fatality and 41 injuries due to a bus overturning. The victims have been transported to Aswan University Hospital for treatment, where all necessary medical care is being provided across various departments.
The Dean of Faculty of Medicine added that the bus accident occurred this morning while carrying a group of Sudanese citizens on the “Aswan – Cairo” western desert road near the Benban area, leading to 41 injuries. The injured were taken to Aswan University Hospital for necessary medical care, while the body of the deceased was transferred to the morgue under the jurisdiction of the prosecution. Dr. Ashraf Mabeed, Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, explained that first aid was administered to the injured, and the necessary x-rays was conducted for all cases. The hospital management announced the names of the injured in the road accident, listing a total of 41 injured and one deceased as follows:
