Aswan University Prepares to Launch Two New Sites to Support Horticultural Produce Value Chains.

Within the framework of strengthening its developmental role and activating partnerships with the industrial sector, Aswan University is preparing to inaugurate two new sites inside the university on June 30, in cooperation with Al-Banna Investment Services Company and Eurogreen Agricultural Projects Company, to support sustainable agricultural development and horticultural value chains.

This was announced during a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Horticultural Production and Marketing Unit, chaired by Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nassrat, President of Aswan University, and attended by several university leaders and members of the unit’s board, to review final preparations and implementation mechanisms for the two projects.

The university president emphasized that the two projects represent an important step toward supporting the production, processing, and marketing system for horticultural crops, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of agricultural products and opening new prospects for investment and development in Upper Egypt, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030. He also noted that the university continues to build effective partnerships with the private sector, contributing to the utilization of scientific research outputs in serving society and supporting sustainable development.
