Today Wednesday Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed witnessed the health symposium which was organized by the University in cooperation with the General Authority for accreditation and Health Control in the presence of Dr. Norhan Al Ghandor and Dr. Alsyed Al Okda, members of the board of the general authority of accreditation and health control, Dr. Ghada Abu Zeid, deputy governor of Aswan, the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the vice president of community service and environmental development Prof. Magdi Mohamed Ali, the dean of the faculty of medicine Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al Dahshori, the executive manager of Aswan university hospitals Dr. Ashraf Meabed, the faculty of medicine’s vice deans, the scientific departments chairmen and the nursing captain. Prof. Ghallab welcomed the attendees and stressed on the significance of elevating the healthcare system in Aswan university hospital for delivering the best health care to the patients a goal which will not be achieved without hardworking, implementing quality and accreditation criteria as for the infrastructure, medical preparations and training manpower including doctors and nursing staff.
In the same context, Dr. Ghada Abu Zaid added that media plays an important role in highlighting the significance of healthcare system in hospitals and glorifying the message of medicine and nursing professions which represent the right wing of the healthcare system. Dr. Noran Al Ghandour referred to the strategic plan of the Authority headed by the Authority’s chairman Dr. Ashraf Ismaeil which aims at accrediting and organizing the health care of all the medical constructions and their personnel, providing the technical support for Aswan university’s accreditation and working on improving the service and health performances of the medical institution. In a related context. Dr. Al Sayed Al Oqda praised the warm reception, the doctors’ considerable attendance and Prof. Ghallab’s welcoming referring to the importance of applying the quality criteria among which the first aids, applying governance, organizing the manpower inside hospitals, drawing the strategic plans for improving the health system, the importance of hand washing for the medical staff and the patients safety by implementing the proper quality policy from the time of the patient’s entrance, applying rat principles when the case is deteriorated, how to rapidly tackle to secure the life of the deteriorated cases. At the end, Prof. Dahshori thanked the authority’s delegation and accompanied them in an inspection tour in the university hospital.
