Aswan University organized the conference about the student initiative for sustainable developing (2030) on the next Saturday 20/4/2019 and the conference continues for two days
Under the patronage of Prof.Khaled Abdul Ghaffer-Minister of Higher Education, Dr.Hala Saeed –Minister of Planning and Dr. Yasmine Fouad – Minister of Environment.
Prof.Ahmed Ghalib Mohammed-Aswan University President declared the conference aims to distinguish the role of youth to achieve to the goals of sustainable development and enable them to practice their role, moreover adopting the students’ initiatives and events that are contributing to establishing the culture of creativity and innovation and supporting the initiatives to develop all sectors of infrastructure.
He added that the conference also aims to confirm on the role of universities and civil society in strengthening the governmental efforts in carrying out the goals of sustainable development, and the care of the students’ projects to strengthen the concept of sustainable developing.
From her part Prof.Hanan Abdul Moneam Awad –Vice President for Students and Education Affairs and Chairman of the Conference said there are four main subjects will be discussed in the conference which are (the role of roads, transports and connections in achieving the sustainable development, the role of sport as an effective tool to strengthen the goals of development-the role of manufacture in carrying out the economic sustainable, increasing the development and providing jobs-the role of media as it’s considered the main partner in spreading awareness of the goals of the sustainable development).
