Aswan University participates in the competition of the Best Environmentally Friendly University organized by Ministry of Higher Education

In line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development, Aswan University participated in the competition of the Best Environmentally Friendly University organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The evaluation committee, chaired by Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Azim Mohamed, Vice President of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environment Development, visited Aswan University and its various campuses on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The committee was welcomed and accompanied by Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat, University President, Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Mohallal, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Mohamed Nageib Rashed, University Coordinator for the competition.
The visit began with a protocol meeting with the university leadership and the competition team, followed by an assessment of the competition criteria across all university campuses. The committee also visited the exhibition organized by the university’s Masar Incubator, the Technology Innovation and commercialisation Office, and the Aswan University Entrepreneurship Club.
