Aswan University participates in the fifth virtual forum in cooperation with the American University in Cairo

Aswan University participates in the fifth virtual forum to communicate and interact with business owners of Egyptian universities in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development and the American University in Cairo.

Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Aswan University President _ said that Aswan University participated today in the activities of the fifth virtual forum for communication and interaction with employers of Egyptian universities – UCCD Virtual Career Expo 2024, and Dr. Ayman Farid_ Assistant Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Strategic Planning, Training and qualification for the labor market, gave a speech of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of many Egyptian universities.

The forum’s activities are sponsored by the National Bank of Egypt (official partner), Contact Financial Holding Company (diamond partner), and Orascom Construction Company (platinum partner), and with the participation of a large number of private sector institutions and business owners in the sectors of communications, banking services, real estate, food industries, educational institutions, and others.

Prof. Ayman Othman_ Aswan University President_ added that the Employment Forum aims to introduce students and graduates to different career paths. The forum is also keen to adhere to the principles of integration and inclusion by allocating activities, training opportunities, and jobs for students with disabilities. This comes within the framework of Aswan University’s keenness to empower its students and graduates and prepare them for the labor market and provide them with job and training opportunities. The university participates in the virtual employment forum for university centers for professional development, UCCD Expo 2024. The team of the University Center for Professional Development at Aswan University is working to prepare graduates and students for this event from During specialized workshops to conduct personal interviews, prepare CVs, and other means of support to ensure students’ success in obtaining the best opportunities for qualification in the labor market.

Dr. Louai Saad El-Din Nasrat_ Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs_ indicated that a number of companies and institutions participated in the employment forum, such as Al Salam Private Schools as a gold participant, and the Pharaohs Company for Investment and Real Estate Development as a silver participant. Al-Tawfiq Contracting Company, Al-Salam Sport Company for Sports Services, the Information Technology Institute, Egypt Projects and the Project Development Agency, as bronze participants, which provide practical training and employment opportunities in the labor market in Aswan. A regional forum for the South Upper Egypt sector will also be held on Tuesday, April 30, in Luxor.
