Aswan University Participation in the Educational Exhibition in Nigeria

After the success of the first part of the educational exhibition that was held in the new capital of Nigeria Abuja, yesterday corresponding to 28th April 2018 the 2nd part of the exhibition was held in Lagos State, the previous capital of Nigeria, under the patronage of the minister of higher education and scientific research Prof. Khaled Abd Al-Ghaffar. It should be noted that the cultural attaché Dr. Ibrahim Abd Al-Baset and the commercial attaché Mohammed Abd Allah have opened the 1st part of the Fair on behalf of the Egyptian ambassador in Nigeria Essam Hanafy. The fair’s 2nd part inauguration that was held in The Federal Palace hotel was witnessed by Lagos’s commandant; among the attendees were some agencies that work in coordination the field of Nigerian students studies abroad. In this context, the cultural attaché Dr. Ibrahim Abd Al Baset said that it is possible that there will be future cooperation between Egypt and Nigeria through direct coordination between the Egyptian embassy in Nigeria and Aswan University headed by Prof. Ahmed Ghallab in order to complete some scientific and educational protocols. The cultural advisor of the Egyptian embassy in Nigeria said that African studies institute; Aswan University is considered a mean of scientific and research connection in the different fields between the two countries. In the same context, Prof. Ghallab said that Aswan University is developing a long-term plan concerning participating in educational exhibitions that aim at connecting Aswan University to African and Arab universities for paving the way for Aswan University to be an attraction to international students.
