Prof. Ghallab” A Portal on African Affairs will be Launched Soon on the University Official Website”

  During the closing ceremony of the 1st African Universities’ Youth Weak, Aswan university president prof. Ahmed Ghallab said that a portal concerning African affairs will be launched on the university official website soon. It will help in enhancing the connection with our brother on the Black Continent.

  He added that the 1st African Universities’ Youth Weak is a head start for scientific, research, cultural and sports cooperation between African countries and he wishes that the Weak will be held annually and organized by one African university next year. The closing ceremony was attended by south valley university president prof. Abd Al Aziz Tantawy, Aswan university vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the general coordinator of the 1st AUYW Prof. Abd Al Rahman Abd Al Baset, a group of the faculties’ deans, arbitration committees members, a number of artists and the members of the African and Egyptian delegations.

  In the same context, Prof. Ghallab thanked all the participants. For his part, Prof. Ayman Othman said that African Youth Researchers Conference will be held next year for giving the African researchers the opportunity to present their ideas on solving the African problems and the university is seeking to held a parliament for the African youth through which they can express their hopes and aspirations.

  Prof. Abd Al Rahman Abd Al Baset added that the Weak was a dream and it really happened thanks to the efforts exerted by Aswan university leaders in cooperation with several ministries and authorities; the ministry of higher education, the ministry of youth and sport, the ministry of culture, the ministry of antiquities, Aswan governorate as well as Al Azahar university.
