Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab said that the 1st African Universities Youth Week will enhance the cooperation between African youth in all fields especially after President Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi’s declaration that Aswan is the capital of the African youth 2019. In a speech to the press, Prof. Ghallab said that Aswan university established the African studies institute 2 years ago to promote the connection with our brothers in the Black Continent.
For his part, the dean of the African studies institute Prof. Al Sayed Eiwees declared that the institute is taking part in the Week’s events where it aims at achieving the African cooperation in all areas, it includes 6 specialized department in politics, economics, African languages, history, geography, Anthropologie and natural resources. He added that 11000 students are enrolled in the diploma, master as well as doctorate stages. It includes 150 Arab and African students.
