Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed opened the new academic staff’s portal application in addition to the development works in the main control room and the web servers. The inauguration was attended by the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the manager of the university training center Prof. Ashraf Imam, Aswan University CIO Eng. Dr. Ghada Abu Zeiad, the manager of the portal unit Dr. Ayman Mohammed Samir. Prof. Ghallab said that the new application will contain all the academic staff’s data as a part of the university’s keenness on electronic services’ diversification. In this context Eng. Dr. Ghada Abu Zeid said that the university president launched the main data center that will enable to host our websites in Aswan University. Prof. Ayman Mohammed Samir added that Aswan University occupied an advanced rank according to Webometrics Ranking of World Universities as it achieved the 2943rd place in regards to the version of July 2018 after its 3838th place according to the Jan. 2018 version with 30.41% advancement percentage.
