Aswan University President Prof. Ahmed Ghallab launched the UK Board Training Center in the faculty of education. The center was created to organize training courses for preparing the graduates to the local as well as the international labor markets. The opening was attended by the vice president of community service and environmental affairs Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil, the dean of the faculty of education Prof. Hassan Allam, the Egyptian teachers’ head and the Arab Teachers Union’s chairman Dr. Khalaf Al Zanaty, the director of the UK Board at the level of the Middle East Dr. Yasser Khalaf, the director of Abu Simbel Training Academy Dr. Mohammed Abd Al Aziem, a range of the Egyptian Parliament’s members as well as Aswan university academic staff. In the same context, Prof. Ghallab said that the new center promotes the students’ as well as the academic staff’s capacities according to fruitful educational programs which are in line with the international criteria that will qualify them to the local and international labor markets. He added that the UK Training Board granted Aswan University an outstanding digital library included a huge amount of training programs.
