Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – President of Aswan University – announced that the Aswan University Training Center held a training course for faculty members and applicants for the position of dean in the Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Energy Engineering, Social Service, Dar Al Uloom, and the Institute of Research and African Studies and Nile Basin Countries, during the period from 2 to 4 October 2022, under the title (Leadership and Influence) for faculty members who are professors who wish to run for the position of dean of a college, in which a group of trained professors in various disciplines lectured.
The conclusion of the activities of the Leadership and Influence Program to qualify the candidacy for the deanship of faculties at Aswan University was witnessed by Dr. Abdel Qader Mohamed Abdel Qader – Acting Former President of Aswan University – and Dr. Ashraf Imam – Director of the Training Center at the university – and Dr. Abo Al-Hassan Al-Shazly lectured in order to qualify the faculty members of the professors who apply to them Conditions for running for the position of dean of the college. The aim is to provide the participants with some knowledge and skills related to university leadership through a 3-day training program of 6 hours per day.
Dr. Ayman Othman – President of Aswan University – added that the training dealt with strategic planning, familiarity with administrative aspects, and work on how to develop the college’s resources and upgrade the college from an academic to a smart college.
