Aswan university Scout and Public Service team took part in the 30th Scout Summit by 15 students. The team participated in all feilds of the contest where it topped the other teams of the different Egyptian and Arab universities in Debates.
Aswan university team did public service projects as visiting orphanages, studying developing projects in cooperation with Marine Scout Society, classifying Nile waste, discussing pollution issues as well as doing free touristic visits in Al Moez Region and Cairo Citadel. They keened on group rowing sport in Nile. A Universities Carnival was held according to the lot. Aswan university team introduced Iraq Folklore and the civilization of Mesopotamia, Iraqi distinguished food and drinks, folklore music and the Iraqi tradition costumes. They got different ranks in all fields where Aswan University got the following individual ranks:
Distinguished confabulator/ Amr Mohammed Mohammed Tawfiq, faculty of law, 3rd batch
Distinguished Scout Student/ Moustafa Mohammed Hafez Abu Al Wafa, faculty of medicine, 3rd batch
Distinguished leader/ Usama Fadel Mahmoud Ismaeil, faculty of Dar Uloom, 4th batch
