Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed-Aswan University President has decided to establish a hospital for psychiatry and advanced medical research center and one day clinics within a number of buildings in Aswan New City.
This comes during the tour of Prof.Ahmed Ghallab in accompanied with Prof.Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshory -Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Dr. Abdullah Al-Obeidi- Director General of the University Hospital in Aswan, he has inspected the building of the Urban Center in Aswan and one of the other buildings after the transfer of their assets from New Aswan City Authority to University.
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab added that these new medical services come within the framework of the role of Aswan University to provide outstanding medical services to the people of the province and to promote development and construction in the new city of Aswan, which has a promising future.
He explained that a psychiatric hospital will be established inside the first building to provide excellent treatment services and alleviate the suffering of patients in various cities and centers of Aswan and neighboring governorates. The second building will include a center for advanced medical research and clinics for one day in the specialties of Batinah, children, women, and obstetrics.
Dr. Mohammed Zaki Al Dahshouri, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Aswan, said that the new medical research and outpatient center consists of a ground floor and two floors with 28 rooms. The equipment will be completed and will be completed within two months. Unique at the level of Upper Egypt universities and will be equipped with the latest national standards.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Obaidi, Director General of the University Hospitals in Aswan, explained that the research lab will be a center for providing advanced medical research services to the patients in the governorate and researchers in the Faculty of Medicine and the various practical colleges at Aswan University and the corresponding colleges in the regional universities.
