Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed – Aswan university President, declared that he inspected the book fair at the university and followed up on the applying all precautionary and preventive measures when entering the university gate and self-sterilization gates, wearing medical masks, maintaining social distance, and sterilization and spraying works that take place periodically in the university facilities in the interest of the safety of the Students, university employees and university visitors, especially in light of the book fair held at Faculty of Agriculture at the University Campus in Sahari.
Ghallab added that on the sidelines of the inauguration of the events of the book fair at Aswan University, which was inaugurated by Dr. / Enas Abdel-Dayem – Minister of Culture, and whose activities will continue until December 31, in attendance of Major General / Ashraf Attia – Governor of Aswan and Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed – Aswan University President, the Minister of Culture honored the leaders of the university, led by Prof. Ahmed Ghallab – university president_ in appreciation of his prominent role in developing the university from new facilities (sports fields – university stadium – educational buildings serving the educational system in Aswan) and the extent of the efforts and productive cooperation in holding an exhibition The book at the university for this year in light of taking all precautionary and preventive measures to confront corona virus and stressing its application.
The Minister of Culture also honored Prof. Ayman Othman_ Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, in appreciation of his role in scientific research and graduate studies sector at the university.
Prof. Ayman Othman_ Vice President of the University_ pointed out that culture and knowledge are among the most important factors for the progress of peoples and reading, and the source of intellectual and cultural inspiration, and the book is a loyal friend. The book fair includes more than (20) publishing houses and has a variety of books for different age groups, amounting to (3 thousand). A book and a story available to all students and visitors from outside.
