Rep.Sami Hashem- Head of Education Committee in the council of representatives confirmed that Aswan University witnesses currently several achievements in the field of infrastructure and construction which develops very quickly under the leadership of Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed-Aswan University President.
He added the university also witnesses pioneer projects in different projects in the light of the spirit of teamwork within the university.
During the tour of the staff of education committee and scientific research headed by Dr.Sami Hashm and accompanied him another 5 representative in the committee Rep.Yassen Abdul Sabor –captian teacher and member of the faculty of council in Aswan, in addition to the presence of Prof. Hanan Abdul Monam Awad –Vice-President of Aswan University for Education and Students Affairs and Prof.Abdul Rahman Abdul Basset –Dean of Faculty of Physics Education and the supervisor of Community Service &Environmental Affairs Sector in university and Dr.El Sayed Fayumi-Deputy Minister of Education in Aswan and a group of academic staff in university.
Sami Hashem said the committee visit Aswan University for the first time and all of us felt pleasure and dazzle when we visited Faculty of Agriculture &Natural Resources and food projects, labs of Faculty of Science, new green playgrounds and the project of creative center that is created by the university.
Ghallab said the visit of Education &Scientific Research Committee gave a strong push for all university employees in order to complete the works of developing and creations and raise the level of educational process within our university that includes 20 faculties and institutes although its independence since 2012.
He pointed out that Aswan University seeks to implement the declaration of Pre. Abdul Fattah El Sisi that Aswan is the capital of African Youth for 2019 ,so the university participated strongly in the preparation and implementation of African Arab Youth Forum under the patronage and presence of Abdul Fattah El Sisi ,also the university sent a medical convoy to Djibouti since days for presenting the medical supporting for our brothers there, in addition to providing a number of scholarship for African students in order to study in Aswan University.
He explained that Aswan University also will host African Universities Week through the next October and we expect 20 African states will participate in this week and it will include different sports, cultural, scientific and recreational activities.
