Zoology Museum

The Zoological Museum is located on the fifth floor of the Faculty of Science building and is Full with a large collection of materials and specimens for both invertebrates and vertebrates, which represent the entire animal kingdom.

The museum contains many preserved specimens, skeletons, anatomical models, glass models of invertebrates, as well as educational posters. The animals in the museum represent the Egyptian environment.

The museum was established in the nineties, and all its contents are either funded by Aswan University or as a result of the research activities of Academic staff and students, which are conducted during the annual scientific trips of the students.

The museum is being modernized by developing its current contents as well as providing it with more different models.
