The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announces the opening of nominations for the State Awards and the Academy Awards to honor distinguished scientists and individuals from Egypt, as follows:
First: Nile Awards
- Number of Awards: Two awards
- Value of Each Award: 500,000 LE, along with a gold medal.
- Fields: Sciences (basic, agricultural, medical, engineering) and advanced technological sciences
Second: State Appreciation Awards
- Number of Awards: 10 awards
- Value of Each Award: 200,000 LE, along with a gold medal
- Fields: 5 awards for basic sciences, agricultural, medical, and engineering sciences, and 5 awards for advanced technological sciences
Third: State Excellence Awards
- Number of Awards: 7 awards
- Value of Each Award: 100,000 LE, along with a silver medal
- Fields: Basic, agricultural, medical, engineering sciences, and three awards for advanced technological sciences
Fourth: State Encouragement Awards
- Number of Awards: 40 awards
- Value of Each Award: 50,000 LE
- Fields: Sciences and technology in the branches of mathematics, physics, chemistry, geology, biology, agriculture, medicine, and engineering).
Eligibility Condition: Applicants must be no older than 40 years by December 31, 2024.
Additional Awards:
- Pioneers Awards:
- 4 awards, each worth 100,000 LE, in the fields of basic, agricultural, medical, and engineering sciences. These awards are granted to prominent scientists with outstanding scientific and technological achievements.
- Women Awards:
- Appreciation Awards: 4 awards, each worth 50,000 LE, for women over 45 years old
- Encouragement Awards: 4 awards, each worth 30,000 LE, for women under 45 years old in the fields of agriculture, health, water and energy, and social sciences
