Aswan University has a strong collaborative partnership with international partners to review comparative approaches and develop international best practices in addressing the SDGs.

One of the different forms of cooperation is the cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development through the Partnership in Energy Center of Excellence. This project, in collaboration with USAID and some other Egyptian universities, is to build the research, education, and entrepreneurship capacities of Aswan, Ain Shams, and Mansoura universities to face the country’s most pressing challenges related to energy.

Strategically, the primary objectives are to build the local capacity of the organization and pursue several market-driven applied research projects that meet Egypt’s needs in the energy sector, while promoting an inclusive educational culture that simultaneously focuses on solving local and global problems.
