Ongoing Research Projects

The new program, developed by United States Agency for International Development USAID in partnership with the Ministry of Education, helps more than 300 students from the technical schools’ students in Aswan and Hurghada specialize in the renewable energy curricula, and prepare them for employment in Egypt’s promising solar and wind power sectors.

It is another partnership represented by the “Center of Excellence for Water” that was inaugurated on September 12, 2019, at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University. The project aims to develop and demonstrate sustainable governance systems to enhance the Egyptian research capacity in the field of water.

  It is approved to establish a research center for renewable energy after meeting Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Ibrahim El Shafei – Professor of Dye-Sensitive Solar Cell Chemistry and Director of the Polymer Chemistry Program at North Carolina State University. Nature Middle East, MIT Institute.

The goal of the initiative is to address the lack of innovators capable of solving various problems, and it also aims to spread awareness regarding the sustainable development goals

The program (Erasmus +) starts from January 15, 2020, to January 14, 2023, and it deals with a main topic, which is cooperation for innovation and the exchange of best practices, the subject type belongs to capacity-building in higher education, which is coordinated by RWTH Aachen University, with the participation of (Madrid Technical University, the American University in Cairo, Aswan University, Alexandria University, Palermo University, the University of Heliopolis Association.
