
Today, Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat_ Aswan University President _inaugurated the first employment forum at Faculty of Commerce. In attendance of Prof. Hassan El-Shakti_ Dean of the Faculty_ and was held in partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, represented by Dr. Ibrahim Abdel-Latif, the agency’s head, with participation from a large number of banks, project owners and companies, and was attended by Mr. Yosri Bahri, Director of the Agricultural Credit Bank in Aswan.
Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat_ Acting President of Aswan University emphasized the importance of connecting graduates with the job market through partnerships between the university, project owners, companies, banks, and employment institutions. This forum, being the first of its kind, aims to provide graduates with transparent opportunities through experiences and training courses that enhance their skills and make them competitive for serious job opportunities.
The forum also aims to help students understand the needs of the job market in terms of various skills and capacities, which serves as an incentive for students to develop their knowledge and professional abilities, either through the faculty, self-learning, or the training programs offered by the faculty in various fields.
Dr. Hassan El-Shakti, Faculty Dean, added that the forum aims to achieve several important goals, including introducing students and young graduates to job opportunities in the labor market and providing job opportunities that match their abilities. It also seeks to inform students and young graduates about the skills and capabilities required by the labor market. Additionally, it provides companies and business institutions with the chance to understand the types of skills and knowledge the faculty develops in its students and graduates, and to provide wide opportunities for companies to advertise their activities and the jobs they need.
