Today corresponding to 14th Feb. 2020 Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab witnessed the activation of the cooperation protocol with the ministry of endowments to train imams and preachers for promoting their awareness of the current issues. the event was attended by the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the undersecretary of the ministry of endowments Dr. Mohamed Ezzat, the previous dean of the faculty of Dar Uloom Prof. Fareed Abd Al Zaher as well as the current dean of the faculty Prof. Mohammed Abu Al Sheikh. Prof. Ghallab welcomed the attendees and valued the cooperation between the ministry of endowments headed by Dr. Mohammed Mokhtar Gomaa and Aswan university. Prof. Ghaalb added that the agreement includes training imams and preachers for promoting their awareness of the current issues in several fields as Arabic sciences and its fields in psychology, communication skills and elocution. The protocol included the faculties of arts, Dar Uloom, social work and medicine. In the same context, Prof. Ayman Othman declared that it was agreed on opening the door for registration in master and PhD degrees for imams and preachers while the tuition expenses are paid by the ministry of endowments.
