Under the patronage of Aswan University President Prof. Ahmed Ghalab, today Aswan university council of community service and environmental development No. 64 was held headed by the vice president of community service and environmental development Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil. Several issues through which the university can activate its role in the society have been presented in the meeting; the following subjects have been approved in the council:
- The proposal of the dean of the faculty of engineering concerning the cooperative protocol between Aswan university faculty of engineering and the education directorate.
- Holding the 4th conference under the title ” Upper Egypt” from 7th to 9th of April 2018.
- The memorandum of the dean of the faculty of physical education concerning organizing a Sports Day under the title ” A Sports Day for Your Health” on 13th of March 2018.
- Establishing ” Aswan University Club for Rowing and Water Sports”.
- The proposal of the trader Mohammed Hamdy to establish ” Cloth Fair” in the faculty of education in the second semester.
Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil stressed on the significance of the council of community service and environmental development that handles the society’s issues and searching for solutions for it. It should be noted that the council was attended by the previous vice president of community service and environmental development Prof. Ali Abbas Dandarawy, the chief of the Authority of High Dam Lake Development Dr. Mahmoud Kotb, the chief of the High Dam and Aswan Low Dam Authority Eng. Khaled Abd Al-Rahman, the undersecretary of the ministry of social solidarity Mr. Mahmoud Farouk, the rapporteur of the National Council for Woman Dr. Huda Moustafa.a
