As a part of university’s keenness on gaining young doctors experience and keeping abreast of updates in plastic surgery and burns, as it is reflected positively on the medical service provided by Aswan University Hospitals, Assiut university faculty of medicine’s plastic surgery department in cooperation with Egyptian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons held a conference entitled “What is New in Head and Neck Surgery” from 24th Jan. to 26th Jan. 2020.
The conference discussed modern methods of treating congenital disorder, multiple injuries and tumors, and also handled cosmetic surgery (facial contouring, fillers injection, and eyelid, lips, and cheeks cosmetic surgeries).
It included several workshops in the presence of the most prominent professors of plastic surgery in the Arab Republic of Egypt and international guests from the United States and Britain to introduce their latest research and share their experience.
