Today, Tuesday, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – President of Aswan University – witnessed the conclusion of the activities of the training course hosted by Aswan University on the Sahara campus, which was held over two days in cooperation between Aswan University, First Academy for Self-Skills Development and the American Embassy in Cairo.
During his speech, His Excellency emphasized the importance of continuous training and work to refine students with life skills and provide them with educational and research programs, foreign language proficiency, computer skills and electronic programming sciences to give them the opportunity to compete in the global labor market.
For his part, the President of Aswan University added that Aswan University has signed many international protocols with international universities to exchange scientific, research and student experiences, with the aim of upgrading the educational and research system that made Aswan University win many first positions in scientific classifications globally, through the scientific research of the University Aswan, which has become a reference for many international universities.
Nabugh Mahfouz, the trainer of the course from the sisterly country of Syria, indicated that the training workshop will be held under the title of developing self-skills, in the presence of a representative from the US Embassy and the Director of the American Cultural Center, which started from Sunday, February 20, until today, Tuesday, February 22, 2022. The aim of the training course is to provide the participants with the required knowledge and skills that enable them to open small projects with the lowest costs and capabilities to advance the national economy and activate the role of Upper Egypt as an integral part of our economy in various fields.
First Academy presented a shield of honor to Prof. Ayman Othman, in appreciation of the efforts of Aswan University in the continuous and fruitful cooperation between the two parties. The President of Aswan University honored a number of students participating in the training course and took memorial photos with them.
