Djibouti Health Minister Honors the Medical Convoy of Aswan University

Prof.Djama Elmi Okieh –Djibouti Health Minister honored the members of the medical convoy that was organized by the Faculty of Medicine in Aswan University in cooperation with Egyptian Agency for participation for the development in Minister of Foreign Affairs during the period from (23-28/2019) in Djibouti as appreciate for their effort in the success of this convey , in attendance Egyptian ambassador in Djibouti state.

Dr.Abdul Rahman El Tahan-Head of Convoy and Vice-Dean of Faculty of Medicine declared  Djibouti Health Minister presented appreciation certificates to members of the medical convoy the conclusion of its works that continued 6 days in Ali Sabah hospital in the light of a remarkable turnout by patients in Djibouti.

Prof.Mohammed Zaki El Dahshori –Acting of Dean of Faculty of Medicine in Aswan University added that the total number of patients who underwent the medical examination during the procedures of this convoy is 500 patients in addition to implementing more than a lot of surgeries in various specializations (Public Surgery- Vascular surgery – Ophthalmology – ENT – Anesthesia).

Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed-Aswan University President pointed out that this convoy was organized at the same time of the declaration of Abdel Fattah El Sisi- President of the Republic of Egypt; Aswan is the capital of African youth for this year, and also for supporting our brothers in Africa from the medical side.
