As part of the political leadership’s focus on youth, Aswan University has formed a committee to select outstanding students among university’s top graduates. The committee is chaired by Dr. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat, Acting President of the University, with the participation of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Sadik, Student Activities Coordinator, Dr. Mohamed El-Saghir, Acting Dean of Faculty of Arts, and other committee members.
Dr. Loai Saad El-Din stated that the committee aims to select the best students from the top of the academic year 2023/2024, in preparation for honoring them by the Republic President of Egypt. This initiative is part of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s support for outstanding graduates and is in line with principles of transparency and fairness.
Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Sadik emphasized the necessity of applying transparency and integrity criteria in choosing the honored students, given the state’s increasing focus on youth and universities.
Dr. Mohamed El-Saghir explained that evaluating the top students depends on several criteria, including participation in student activities, excellence in talents, creativity and innovation, entrepreneurial skills, in addition to their cumulative academic performance throughout their years of study.
