A Delegation of Aswan University Congratulates our Christian Brothers on the Coptic Christmas

On Monday corresponding to 7th Jan. 2019 a delegation of Aswan University included, Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the vice president of community service and environmental affairs Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil as well as the dean of the faculty of Dar Uloom Prof. Farid Abd Al Zaher congratulated our Christian brothers and the Church leaders in Aswan and Kom Ombo on the occasion of Coptic Christmas. The delegation has visited the Orthodox Cathedral in Aswan; they were received by the Bishop of Aswan Abba Hedra, the priests and clergymen of the orthodox cathedral. They also visited the Catholic Church in Aswan where they were received by the archpriest Antonious Zekri, the clergymen and priests. They have visited the Anglican Church where they were received by the priest Mourees Makram. The delegation also paid a visit to Kom Ombo churches to congratulate the Christians on the Christmas. In this context, Prof. Ghallab said that Aswan people are part of the Egyptian people who believe in the national unity and are keen on stabilizing the nation’s security.
