“New Beginnings for Human Development” initiative and implementation of its Objectives at Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Aswan University

As part of implementation of the presidential initiative  “A New Beginning for Human Development” at Aswan University, a reception ceremony was held for new students at Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The event was attended by Prof. Yasser Abdel-Hamid, Dean of the Faculty, the faculty’s deputies, and university students.

Prof. Loai Saad Al-Deen Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, confirmed that the university is working towards achieving the goals of the Bedaya initiative through student activities, sports, cultural, artistic, and scientific events. He explained that the reception of new students at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources is part of reinforcing loyalty and belonging to the nation in celebration of the new academic year.

The President of Aswan University added that the political leadership places great emphasis on youth to build their creative capacities and work on distinguishing them by developing their skills and talents.

For his part, Prof. Yasser Abdel Hamid, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, explained that today’s event is part of the reception of new students and honoring outstanding students, aiming to motivate them and instill a spirit of scientific competition among them, in line with Bedaya initiative.

The ceremony was attended by faculty’s deputies and students, as part of their participation in achieving the goals of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Development.”
