The General Administration of Environmental Projects is a department affiliated to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the administration plays a vital and important role in community service and environmental development, as it implements the sector’s plan and implements its mission for which it was established.
The Administration works on the following:
- Subject to the general guidance of the Vice President for Community Service Affairs.
- Supervises the work related to environmental projects.
- Supervises the organizational divisions of the department.
- Develop a system that allows the preparation and identification of plans and programs to contribute to the development of the environment.
- Coordinating work with the data bank to provide the necessary data and information to conduct analytical studies to identify the problems of the economic and social environment and determine the role of the university in solving them.
- Coordinating work with the faculties of the university on the development of alternative plans to address the problems of the industrial, agricultural, service, human, social and other environmental problems.
- Supervises the development of final plans for development in various fields.
- Supervises the preparation of executive programs necessary to implement the university’s plans in environmental development.
- Follow up the implementation of environmental executive programs in coordination with the faculties of the university and with the beneficiary organizations in the environment.

Mission
This was achieved through partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Aswan Governorate, especially the Protection Agency
General Goals
- Identification of important and necessary environmental projects for the province
- Planning and feasibility studies for all these projects
- Determining the role of each sector, including the university, in implementing that plan and its activities
Special Goals
- Contribute to identifying environmental problems in the region, especially in Aswan Governorate, and identifying them to find ways to solve them.
- Contribute to stopping the deterioration of the environment and preserving and optimizing the exploitation and maintenance of natural resources
Holding educational seminars on:
- Youth and correcting misconceptions about addiction and drugs.
- An awareness campaign that we will live right.
Training courses were held on:
- Reproductive education.
- Qualifying leaders from Aswan University students for voluntary work in spreading awareness about the dangers of addiction and how to prevent and treat it.
