It is subject to the directive of the Director General of Environmental Projects.. It performs the following tasks:
- Supervising management personnel.
- Supervising the development of plans for environmental development programs.
- Supervising the coordination of work with the faculties of the university and determining the role of the faculties in contributing to the
- Implementation of research projects to serve the environment.
- Carrying out the necessary analytical studies to determine the axes of the applied research project plans
- The university contributes to the development of the environment.
- Implementation of final plans for industrial, agricultural, environmental, human and social development.
- – Developing the necessary executive programs to achieve the university’s plans for the development of the environment in various fields.
- Determining the main axes of economic and social development plans in society as a whole.
- Participation with the local authorities to determine the role of the university in the development of the environment in the areas of (the development of industrial and agricultural production, commercial and service activities and the development of human resources) in government organizations of the public and private sectors.
