Aswan University Announces Opening of Candidacy for Dean of Faculty of Fish and Fisheries Technology

Under the patronage of Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, the university has announced the opening of nominations for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Fishery Technology and Aquaculture, starting from Sunday, July 27 until August 3, 2025, for eligible professors currently working at the faculty.

Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and promoting transparency and governance standards. Applications will be accepted at the University President’s Office at the Sahari campus during official working hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The preliminary list of candidates will be announced on Sunday, August 3, followed by a two-day period for filing appeals (August 4–5). The final list of candidates will be published on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

Prof. Nasrat stressed that the selection process will be based on competence, transparency, and development vision, stating:
“We aim to select an academic leader with a clear vision for advancing the faculty, prioritizing students and scientific research, and contributing to the university’s journey toward excellence and institutional accreditation.”

Candidates must submit a set of official documents, including:

  • A formal application addressed to the University President
  • A recent employment status statement
  • An updated CV
  • A strategic plan for developing the faculty, including challenges, solutions, and Development proposals
  • A legal clearance certificate from the university’s legal affairs department
  • A copy of the national ID card
  • Six recent personal photos
