Aswan university acting president Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, said that Aswan University achieved advanced places at the level of the participating universities in the Border Governorates Forum, which was organized by Al-Arish University under the slogan “Together in Sinai.” The sports forum included many sports competitions and student activities, including 5- player soccer.
For his part, Prof. Ayman Othman congratulated the winners and Aswan University’s central administration of youth care, led by Captain Hatem Yousry, director-general of the central administration, and Mr. Ahmed Taqi, director of the sports activity administration.
The results showed the following ranks for Aswan University:
- First place in doubles table tennis.
- First place in doubles table tennis.
- First place in female singles table tennis; student/ Hoda Mostafa, faculty of arts, Aswan university.
- Second place in female singles table tennis; student/ Reem Abazid, faculty of commerce.
- 1st place in singles table tennis; student / Omar Hisham, faculty of engineering.
- Third place in singles table tennis; student/ Ziad Mohamed, faculty of commerce.
Prof. Ayman Othman added that the winners will be honored in order to motivate them to participate positively in such activities.
