On Sunday corresponding to the 1st March 2020 Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed witnessed a workshop on preparing the teachers of refugees and migrants in Seminar Hall, Administrative Building, Sahary Campus and will continue till the 5th March 2020. In this context, Prof. Ghallab welcomed the participants from the different Egyptians universities (Al Azhar, Al Zagazig, Heliopolis) and European ones ( Crete, Frederick University, Bath Spa University). He invited the attendants to the university’s new branch in Aswan Al Gadeda to witness the surge in the educational process in addition to buildings and facilities.
The workshop started by a lecture entitled “Spreading the World Peace” where several themes were discussed of which:
- Preparing the daily academic sessions in an attractive way including international events like the Earth Day and the objectives of sustainable development, effective teaching methods like peer education, using education technology and internet in big developed computer labs and video conferences that were fully prepared in the faculties of education in all participating universities.
They discussed dealing with incoming teachers and spreading the culture of multiculturalism. The participants from Aswan university are Dr. Ahmed Al Eteify, Dr. Adel Abd Al Faheim, and Dr. Yasmmin Mahran.
