Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab declared that an integrated plan to aware students of Coronavirus is being prepared and stressed on the practical application of the protection methods. In this context a series of symposia on awareness of the methods of protection against coronavirus is scheduled to be held on 9th– 11th March 2020 by Aswan University in cooperation with Aswan Culture Directorate and with the participation of youth and sports directorate, education directorate and the faculty of medicine. In the same context, the dean of the faculty of medicine Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al Dahshori said that the faculty has a vital role in educating its student on the world’s latest events especially coronavirus (COVID-19) and the students’ role in the awareness of their families of the ways of protection against coronavirus. The vice-dean of community service and environmental development Dr. Hesham Al Refaee said that there are tips to be followed to protect individuals against all types of contemporary viruses through the ongoing awareness symposia on coronavirus. The sessions will be lectured by the acting chairman of Chest diseases department Dr. Shazly Baghdady and a selected group of the faculty of medicine’s staff in the presence of Aswan university hospitals Prof. Abd Allah Al Ebeidy.
